Welcome to the Bristol Bulldogs Model Aircraft Club's Home page

The Club flies from the side of the main Filton Runway and has operated on the Filton site for over 50 years. Model flying only takes place when the operational Filton Airfield is closed to air traffic at weekends.

The club is currently closed to new members until we establish how we intend to operate following the closure of Filton Airfield at the end of this year.

Where we are

The Club flies from the side of the main runway at Filton Bristol. The large expanse of concrete and open spaces around the flying site gives superb flying capability all year round for all sizes of models. As we operate the flying site on an operational airfield the flying opportunities are limited and the majority of Club members have a second club as a backstop.
